DC Power System Service
Overview
DC Power Systems require services from start to finish to ensure proper continuity of operation. Unplanned downtime from DC Power System failure can be disastrous to your organization’s operations, reputation and bottom line. As a supplier of DC Power Systems since 1958 through our parent company – Arthur N. Ulrich Company we understand how critical it is to keep electrical systems up and running, with minimal downtime and the highest levels of safety.
We pride ourselves in staying current with applicable regulations, codes & standards in addition to best practices and lessons learned from real-world experience. Our service technicians follow standards published by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA®), North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) and Battery & Charger Manufacturers.
Installation
Our installation services include the physical installation of the DC Power System. We can also facilate the installation of the “balance of system” including battery racks, enclosures, cabinets, spill containment systems and more.
Commissioning
Our commissioning services are designed to ensure your DC Power System is properly setup from Day 1. We make sure equipment is set to appropriate factory settings and make any adjustments to meet your specific requirements.
Preventive Maintenance
Our preventive maintenance services can be monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and/or annual servicing of the DC Power System; designed to ensure proper operation and aid in determining the need and timing of future replacement.
Testing
Our battery & charger testing services can help you avoid costly downtime by using reliable methods of testing to determine the true health of your system. For batteries we utilize capacity testing which reveals the batteries’ ability to perform under a dynamic load.
Replacement & Recycling
In line with regulations and our own commitment to preserving the environment, our replacement and recycling services can facilitate the safe and proper removal and recycling of both lead acid and nickel cadmium batteries with applicable documentation for record keeping.
Training
Our safety and operation training services provide personnel with the knowledge, tools and skills needed to safely operate and maintain DC Power Systems. We can provide training on-site or online per customer needs/requirements.
