Switch Boost™ Systems (All-New)
Our innovative and patented Switch Boost™ Systems utilize one or two Ultracapacitor or Hybrid Ultracapacitor modules to provide enhanced power for 12V, 24V and 120V railway power switches. Taking advantage of the high current and exceptional cycling capability of ultracapacitors and hybrid ultracapacitors, our Switch Boost™ Systems can dramatically improve the performance, life and reliability of railway power switches, compared to battery-only systems.
Fuel Cells provide a reliable source of DC power by converting chemical energy into electricity. As an independent systems integrator we have the experience and expertise to guide our customers to the fuel cell technology that best fits their individual needs, not just a one size fits all approach!
We have experience with multiple fuel cell technologies and currently offer both Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFC) and Alkaline Fuel Cells (AFC) from 250W up to 5kW.
Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFC)
Powered by low cost propane or natural gas Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFC) are capable of providing days, weeks and even months of reliable, clean, extended-run backup power protection with little to no maintenance needs compared to diesel/gas generators. SOFCs are ideally suited to provide automated charging power to battery banks during extended AC power outages and/or times of insufficient solar production (hybrid solar systems). We currently offer Solid Oxide Fuel Cells by Adaptive Energy with power ratings of 250W at 12/24/48 VDC.
Alkaline Fuel Cells (AFC)
Powered by industrial grade hydrogen (99.95%) or ammonia, Alkaline Fuel Cells (AFC) are capable of providing reliable, zero-emissions backup power for a variety of critical infrastructure applications with minimal maintenance. We currently offer Alkaline Fuel Cells by GenCell Energy with power ratings up to 5kW at 48 VDC.

Stirling Engine Generators
Qnergy’s PowerGen Stirling Engine Generators combine high efficiency Free Piston Stirling Engine (FPSE) technology with advanced combustion capabilities to efficiently transform propane, well gas and natural gas into electricity. PowerGen Stirling Engine Generators are a maintenance-free alternative to diesel/gas generators for mid-to-high remote and backup power requirements. Compared to other remote power generating technologies, the PowerGen can provide multiple output configurations (both AC and DC), requires no routine maintenance or oil changes, has no start/stop cycle limitations and is conservatively estimated to provide 80,000+ hours of service! PowerGen Stirling Engines are available at 1.8kW and 5.6kW at 120/240 VAC.

Solar (PV) Power Systems
Solar (PV) Power Systems provide a reliable and proven source of DC power by converting sunlight directly into electricity. Solar Power Systems are a good fit for a variety of commercial and industrial applications because they’re very economical, require very little maintenance and have no ongoing fueling requirements. We offer both grid-tie and off-grid systems with multiple system mounting configurations to meet virtually any budget and/or site requirement. We can provide Solar Power Systems sized from 50W to 1MW.
SuperWind Micro-Wind Turbines (350W & 1250W) provide a source of DC power by capturing the energy of moving air and converting it into electricity. SuperWind Micro-Wind Turbines are made of the highest quality components – salt water resistant aluminum alloy and stainless steel for autonomous operation in any harsh environment. Notable features like auto-feathering blades, dump load resistor, valance verification and easy integration with existing power systems make SuperWind Micro-Wind Turbines the professional choice for reliable remote power generation.
Battery Boxes, Enclosures & Racks
Critical battery systems need to perform when called upon. Unwanted exposure to airborne contaminents and accidental human interaction can compromise the performance and safety of your critical battery system(s).
Our robust Battery Boxes are designed to shield and protect battery systems located in harsh outdoor environments. Constructed of all-welded aluminum (steel constructon also available) and featuring fully insulated panels, these battery boxes provide excellent protection for your batteries. We offer several standard sizes and can provide a high level of customization per customer requirements.
Our industrial Polycarbonate Battery Enclosures are customizable to fit virtually any size and type of battery bank located in harsh indoor environments where space may be limited and performance and safety are of the utmost importance.
Our heavy-duty indoor Battery Racks with slide-out shelves provide easy installation, access and maintenance of 19″ or 23″ rack-mount battery systems.
Our Battery Tester allows the user to test battery performance under different conditions or circumstances to ensure the battery is effective.
The Battery Insulated Torque Wrench Tool Kit provides a safe and convenient means of installing and adjusting SAFT’s nickel-cadmium batteries in the field.
