RedHawk Energy currently holds memberships, either on a corporate or an individual basis, in the following associations/organizations for staying abreast of market and industry developments, and for establishing expanded contacts.

American Solar Energy Society

Established in 1954, the American Solar Energy Society (ASES) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that advocates for sustainable living and 100% renewable energy. We share information, events and resources to cultivate community and power progress in the U.S. and beyond. As the U.S. section of the International Solar Energy Society (ISES), we work with individuals and groups around the world to accelerate the transition to a renewable energy and sustainable living society.

RSSI

Railway Systems Suppliers, Inc. is a trade association serving the communication and signal segment of the rail transportation industry. RSSI continues to grow with over 280 member companies.

RSSI’s primary effort each year is to organize and manage a trade show for our members to exhibit their products and services.

ASLRRA

Founded in 1913, ASLRRA proudly represents the entrepreneurial owners and operators of short line and regional railroads throughout North America. These approximately 600 small businesses play a vital role in the hub-and-spoke transportation network, often providing the first-mile/last-mile connection between farmers and manufacturers and the ultimate consumer.

 

Ohio Fuel Cell & Hydrogen Conference

The Coalition was established to ensure Ohio’s presence both regionally and nationally in current fuel cell and hydrogen discussions and will work to:

  • Build upon existing industry and academic strengths of research and development, advanced manufacturing, advanced materials technologies, components, and services to advance the integration of a coordinated, robust fuel cell infrastructure and supply chain.
  • Promote public awareness about the positive role fuel cell and hydrogen technology can play as an efficient, reliable and environmentally responsible source of energy in a wide variety of applications
  • Expand networking and information sharing opportunities that lead to greater alliances and understanding of the economic opportunities available to Ohio organizations.
  • Support networking between the fuel cell and hydrogen industry supply chain, technology developers, hydrogen producers, and hydrogen users to increase economic opportunities for Ohio organizations.
  • Encourage federal funding that will leverage state resources in the development of fuel cell technology and the locating of commercial development, manufacturing assets, and job creation in Ohio.

American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association

AREMA is a professional association for railway engineering personnel that offers numerous educational opportunities and produces and publishes the recommended practices for railway engineering infrastructure including track, structures and communications & signals. AREMA is comprised of approximately 5,500 members all working together to further the development and advancement of both technical and practical knowledge of the industry.

Founded: AREMA was established in 1997 through the merger of several older organizations, including the American Railway Engineering Association (AREA, founded 1899), the American Railway Bridge and Building Association, and parts of the Roadmasters and Maintenance of Way Association. Its roots trace back over a century, making it a cornerstone of railway engineering history.
Purpose: AREMA’s mission is to advance technical and practical knowledge in railway engineering and infrastructure maintenance. It focuses on the design, construction, and upkeep of tracks, bridges, tunnels, signals, and other railway systems.

Benefits: Membership offers access to educational resources, networking opportunities, and industry publications. It’s a mark of professionalism for those in railway engineering, signaling a commitment to staying current and exchanging ideas with peers.
