Product Overview:
RedHawk Energy Systems, LLC offers a range of packaged Hybrid Power Systems for critical remote site and backup power requirements. In these systems, different power generation and storage units are combined to complement each other and meet the energy demands of the application.
Photovoltaic (Solar) Power System & Ext Run Generator - Model HPS-PG
This type of hybrid power system is often utilized in applications that have high power requirements and in remote site applications that suffer from extreme shading conditions such as trees, hills, or mountains during parts of the year. The PV (solar) power system supplies power to the load during seasons of abundant sunshine, while the extended run engine generator powers up during periods of limited sunshine to provide the adequate amount of power needed to support the load. An energy storage system (batteries) can also be used in conjunction with this hybrid power system to support the load. The contribution of the PV (solar) power system is that it helps to reduce the fueling needs/costs of a generator-only backup power system.
