Product Overview
The RP Series Retractable Mast brings unparalleled convenience and dramatically improved safety to the installation, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of pole mounted equipment. This unique system allows for solar module arrays, wind generators, communication antennas and signal heads to be assembled and mounted to the pole structure from ground level (shown in the pictures below). In like fashion, periodic maintenance, alignment, troubleshooting and replacement can be performed with greater safety and convenience from ground level while the system remains fully operational.

Integrated Wiring Management System
The RP Series Retractable Mast features an integrated wiring management system that helps to eliminate wiring handling by field service personnel when raising and lowering the mast. A heavy duty worm drive sprocket winch enables the entire array structure to be raised and lowered via a manual crank or drill operated sprocket. The system remains operation at all times, even when its in the lowered position. In areas exposed to hurricanes, the solar arrays can be lowered to reduce the potential for damage due to high winds.

RP Series Configurations
In addition to solar module arrays; wind generators, communication antennas and signal heads can be assembled and mounted to the pole structure (See drawings below).

RP Series Options - Wind Generator Pole Adaptor
A tilt-down retractable Wind Generator Pole Adaptor is available for integrating a wind generator directly to the RP Series Retractable Mast. This option easily attaches to the RP Series Retractable Mast to extend the wind generator an additional ten feet above the top of the pole to clear obstacles and to gain access to the best and most consistent wind.
