Product Overview
RedHawk Energy Systems, LLC offers the Marathon Engine Systems Minotaur 2500 Electric Power System for remote site power requirements.  The Minotaur 2500 has been specifically designed to deliver high quality, reliable, unattended prime power.  Long maintenance intervals of up to 4,000 hours and efficient fuel use translates into low operating that are particularly important for remote, often difficult to reach locations.  The clean, low attention cabinet provides easy access for quick, efficient, and simple service. The use of widely available natural gas or LPG (propane) coupled with worldwide power capability makes the Minotaur 2500 truly unique.  Highly engineered components and electronics give the Minotaur 2500 a superior degree of reliability; in fact the Minotaur 2500 has the highest reliability of any small internal combustion engine based system available today.

Applications:
-
Railway Wayside Remote & Backup Power
- Cathodic Protection

Hybrid Power System Configuration
PV (Solar) or Wind & Extended Run Engine Generator - Model HPS-PG
Hybrid Power System
This type of hybrid power system is often used in applications that have high power requirements and that might also suffer from shading conditions such as trees, hills or mountains during parts of the year.  The PV (Solar) Power System supplies power to the load during seasons of abundant sunshine while the Extended Run Generator powers up during periods of limited sunshine to provide the adequate amount of power needed to support the load.  The contribution of the PV (Solar) or Wind System is that it helps to reduce the fueling needs of generator systems.
