RedHawk Energy Systems, LLC offers Polycarbonate Battery Enclosures customized to fit virtually any size and type of battery bank. These enclosures feature a sturdy slotted aluminum frame fitted with clear polycarbonate paneling (pictures show protective cover for shipping purposes) to allow clear visibility of batteries at all times. All enclosures are assembled with hinged double doors that provide full access to the batteries for maintenance. A magnetic hinged door catch ensures these doors remain closed and protect the batteries from unwanted exposure to airborne contaminants and accidental human interaction. In addition, each system is equipped with a 60cfm centrifugal blower to exhaust battery byproducts out of the enclosure. Standard PVC piping and fittings can then be connected to exhaust gases out of the building housing the enclosure. As an extra safety precaution a wall-mounted hydrogen detector with alarm is included to ensure that the blower is functioning properly at all times.

Common applications for our Battery Enclosures include factories, warehouses, and powerhouses where space may be limited and safety is of the utmost importance. The most common size of our Polycarbonate Battery Enclosures is 48" x 48" x 88" (length x width x height), but the aluminum bar and paneling can be easily fabricated to accommodate any desired size. Units can be combined and equipped with multiple doors to house much larger strings and racks of batteries.
